Literatur, Kombinatorik und Archäologie der Digital Humanities Beitrag Reinhard Krüger, Beatrice Nickel Comparatio, Jahrgang 9 (2017), Ausgabe 1, Seite 17 - 40 The following paper is focused on the wide range of computerized language treatment – especially in the realm of poetic production – and its limits imposed by the particular nature of human language. This contribution aims at reconstructing the tradition of combinatorial literature from late Antiquity to Italo Calvino and Hans Magnus Enzensberger. Therefore, we will also discuss the main representatives of cybernetic thought, for example Norbert Wiener, Alan M. Turing, John von Neumann and Claude Elwood Shannon.
